Join our experts as they share hands-on practical knowledge and evidence-based tools that can help you navigate your child’s growth and development. Share your questions and concerns, and walk away with usable solutions you can integrate into your daily routines at home.

Free childcare is provided, but registration is required.

It is common for young children to be called “picky eaters”, but when does picky eating become a problem? Join pediatric feeding specialist, Sarah Moreau, as she explains how therapists can identify when a “picky eater” becomes a “problem feeder” and how therapists can help support families through the stress of mealtimes.

    Objectives:
    1. Identify the differences between a “picky eater” and a “problem feeder”
    2. Describe the underlying skill deficits with eating that present as behavioral issues during mealtime
    3. Discuss how early intervention therapists can help support young children and families struggling with mealtimes
